When the other 5 year olds were playing marbles in the streets of Bursa, Turkey, Cenk was cutting up tapes and making his own mixes whilst listening to his dads jazz records. It has been this natural affinity with music & all things technical that has led Cenk to evolve into a world where music and production has become his life. Before relocating to Amsterdam in 2000, Cenk was mixing it up all over Turkey refreshing DJ sets & hosting an electronic radio show ‘Stuck On Music’. As the world moved on, so too did Cenk. He felt connected to mashing up Big Grooves with other media such as video, binding them together to make one. As this started to happen in his DJ sets, new experiences started to occur on the dance-floor, which led Cenk to begin his own productions, also bringing them into the mix of his audio-visual sets. These days he is still spinning the Big Grooves, within the realms of house and techno. Due to the extent of his playing, and his knowledge in dance music, Cenk has also been working for many years now as a workshop presenter by the likes of Ableton Live, Reason and 365mag. Being continually inspired by the energies of the people around him, Cenk is moving into the future like a space-bound rocket, developing his productions further, collaborating with others to create truly kickin’ nights in the underground, Cenk also became Certified Ableton Trainer and started his own training center, The Unis Academy, where he teaches music production.
